My lab investigates how neural circuits are regulated, how they are influenced by disease and how they make behaviourally-relevant decisions. Our research focuses on mammalian networks in hippocampus, visual cortex and hypothalamus, but also simple control circuits in molluscs. We exploit innovative methodologies based on electrophysiology, imaging and electron microscopy.
